Located on a pedestrian walk laid out in Frederick Law Olmsted's campus plan, the Haas Center for Public Service is designed to be compatible with its neighborhood of residential-scaled buildings. The 14,000 square foot center houses Stanford University's student volunteer programs. One of the client's major goals was to make the building feel more like a residence than an office building.
