		Napa, California Sited in the western hills above Napa Valley on a knoll top surrounded by vineyards with Mt. Veeder to the north and Mt. Diablo to the south, the house frames and captures the spectacular views without losing the sense of the knoll. Instead of filling the site, the house pulls apart to allow the hill to flow through. A delicate entry hall bridges between the two wings looking out to both the north and the south. Each wing of the house adapts its form to the contours of the hill, diminishing the apparent volume of the structure.
