The drive swings around on the uphill side of the house to open onto a courtyard formed by the garages dug into the hill and the tall wall of the house. The living room projects forward to dramatic views and opens onto a cantilevered deck, where a mature oak tree grows through the deck, offering shade and filtered light. | |
