Larkin Street Youth Services provides a wide range of services to at-risk youth in San Francisco, and for many years these services had been a dispersed among an array of leased storefont spaces. Our project included the renovation of an historic 29,000 s.f. warehouse building in the Tenderloin neighborhood to create a new home of the organization, allowing services to be consolidated in one building, together with the organization’s administration. The program, distributed across three floor levels, includes a drop-in center, classrooms and activity spaces, art and music rooms, a medical clinic and offices.
