The Nueva School Community Center includes a full-size basketball court and a performance stage and was designed both to accommodate the school's expanding athletic, music and dance programs, and to serve as the main gathering place for the Nueva community. The building fronts onto the main entry drive with a one story porch and then steps down the hillside site, minimizing the bulk of the gym. The building includes skylights and operable windows for daylighting and natural ventilation.
